EtchTech uses the Etchlike® Simulated Glass Etching process.

Hydrofluoric Acid and/or 400 Grit Sandblasting.

Your EtchTech design will be custom created using computer aided design (CAD) tools. There are literally thousands of designs to choose from, and they can be further modified to meet your needs.  EtchTech designs on glass are ideal for most types of glass, including installed windows, doors and mirrors. The designs add beauty and provide the opportunity to dramatically enhance the elegance of a home or business, all with the unmistakable look and feel of etched glass.

    An EtchTech design is not a sticker or decal rather it is an applied catalytic polymer solution over a custom design template. The solution bonds to the glass and mirror surface and dries to an extremely hard and durable finish, suitable for most indoor and outdoor applications.  Unlike permanent etching, should you desire to change the design or find it necessary to remove due to relocation, your Etch Tech design is removable. As the Etchlike® process bonds to the glass (without being invasive to even tempered glass) it can be REMOVED, leaving the glass surface in its original condition. This removable option makes Etchlike ideal for leased property and for situations where the applied design may need to be changed.

The EtchTech design can be applied on-site, eliminating the inconvenience of down-time. It can be done quickly and neatly without disruption. The product is extremely durable. It holds up exceptionally well to normal window washings, and ultra-violet light has very little effect on the EtchTech design.  EtchTech is perfect for today’s glass decorative needs. It’s practical, elegant, and an affordable alternative to invasive etching.
